Fantastic village Mashevo – a living Soviet Union in Chernobyl
Villages located on the left bank of the Pripyat River in the Exclusion Zone suffered at the hands of marauders the least. This phenomenon is primarily due to the inaccessibility of the settlements located here from the greater land. On the one hand, Belarus, and on the other the deep Dnipro and Pripyat. By the way, only the ferry crossing was built through the last one before the accident, the Chernobyl-Paryshev bridge was built only during the liquidation of the accident.
Mashevo is one of the most remote villages of the Pripyat Left Bank of the Zone. Before the accident there were 600 people. Perhaps the most striking objects of this enclave were for me a machine tractor station in the village of Zimovishte and Mashevskaya secondary school. In this post, and will talk about this school.

The village of Mashevo in Chernobyl is very well preserved
In houses all things lie in place: clothes, furniture, books, photos. The windows in the Mashevo houses are whole, the stoves are also full. Despite the fact that in Chernobyl after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power station there was mass looting, the village of Mashevo was well preserved. There are rarely people there.
