The real abandoned city of Pripyat can be seen almost in detail in the famous computer game “Stalker. Call of Pripyat”. What exactly the developers transferred to the virtual world from a real ghost town – now let’s figure it out in more detail.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R .: Call of Pripyat is a first-person shooter computer game with RPG elements and survival horror from the Ukrainian company GSC Game World, a sequel to the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R .: Shadow of Chernobyl. The game was released on October 2, 2009.
The gazebo on the playground of the virtual Pripyat will almost exactly coincide with the real one.
And here is a real gazebo in the courtyard of an abandoned kindergarten in Pripyat called “Sun”:
The same Bear from the game “Stalker. Call of Pripyat”, which is located at the kindergarten:
In reality, it exists, but has already changed its location in the exclusion zone 2 times. Before the accident, he stood at the garden in Pripyat, after – he was transferred to the laundry, and now he stands on the outskirts of the city of Chernobyl. The photo was taken in Pripyat near the laundry:

And this is how this place looks in reality. The only difference is in the extent to which it is preserved. Everything in the game looks much newer than it does today. As the saying goes, this is the reality:
School of Pripyat at number one is the only one that the developers decided to show in the Pripyat location (there are 5 schools in Pripyat in general). It is located in the first microdistrict of the city and part of the building has already collapsed:
Found the same angle that I saw in the game. School # 1 looks the same in reality. There can only be more thickets:
“Found an elevator in Chernobyl, which is in the Stalker game at the Cordon location, looks like it?”
