Kopachi is an abandoned village 4 km away from the Chernobyl NPP on the right bank of the Pripyat River in the Ivankivsky district of the Kiev region. In the process of eliminating the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the village was buried.

The buried village of Kopachi was rapidly developing in the 1980s. After the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986 the village was heavily polluted, liquidated by a complete burial.

The Kopachi are located in the 10-km zone of alienation of the Chernobyl NPP near Yanov settlement, at a distance of 3800 m from the 4th power unit. At the moment, the territory is not inhabited (during the expedition samoselyov not found). The village became a favorite place for different animals.
